Somatic Energy Medicine~ "The Sattvic Session"

It is through the practitioners attention to Presence, that opens the field to infinite possibility. In this acknowledgment of the sharing of Divine Presence in the person in front of you we realize that we are one and the same. This builds a deep trust, that allows for the client to relax in this Presence....
The soul is addressed in with Presence and is able to release deep seated fears, and blocks that have been clouding it's light for a lifetime. Presence is the healer not the I, or ego, it is Reality, beyond time and space, birth less and deathless, the nectar of immortality.
This experience of Soul communion is immediate in a Somatic Energy session, by way of the practitioner creating this safe and sacred space with
“therapeutic presence”.

The more stable the foundation of trust and safety is established, the deeper and clearer the results of release of trauma, tension, depression and anxiety.
Releasing the sympathetic nervous system is the key.
Moving the central nervous system from the “fight or flight” Sympathetic nervous system to the “core response” Parasympathetic nervous system. This is where we experience meditation and relaxation.
Subtle and gentle touch resonates with the Air and Etheric elements in the body, we call this “Sattvic Touch”. Sattva is the neutral force of the Positive and Negative.
We are always striving to lead the client energetically back to balance/neutral.

A Sattvic approach to healing and holding sacred space offers the client great opportunities to commune with the essential part of their nature, Their true Self.
The client walks away feeling clear, strengthened, rested and empowered.
In the Somatic Energy Medicine Model the practitioner is working smarter not harder, working with “effortless effort” and with the power of the elements, sound, visualization, breath work, and presence.
This is a great body of work, that can meld into any style of massage, counseling, health building and wellness practices.
