Practicing Presence as Source Part 1 of 2

We practice presence in order to create an deep immediate connection with those we are helping and instructing. (Click to join us on Lake Tahoe!!)
In our aims to being present we invite the unlocking of our fullness to show up not only in ourselves but in others as well.

Trust is won in this way. When we are fully present with another, and listening to their words and witnessing their expressions and giving clear feedback this shows someone we care enough to be here in this moment with them. In this authentic communication trust is established for deeper connection to take root.
Active listening is a great tool to establish trust through communication. When another is talking we are simply repeating what they are saying in your own sincere tone and voice. It's amazingly simple and effective! The person will agree with your response due to the reflective nature of “active listening.”

As a helper and instructor we are only as good as we are trusted and trust is won through the power of presence. All the pearls of communication skills are thread upon the golden string of presence.
Just as “there is no other moment except this one” it takes presence of spirit, heart, body and mind to fully embrace this great “awakening statement!”

My teacher Bruce Burger would often say that “presence is the healer”.
I really resonated with this in that I felt my presence as a tiny extension of a greater presence that I call Source. Source is the healer. Not “Joaquin”. Joaquin is the channel, the conduit that can hold safe and sacred space as magnificent presence. We are ALL capable of this!
The healing process happens as a unionized magnification of source vibration aimed and focused on a clear result.
A miracle one may call this, but it simply is the potentization of the life force currents streaming into a state of oneness.

When we work, we work with presence.
When presence is lost so are we.
How many times and how many stories can we recall when we were hurt physically, mentally and emotionally due to our loosing touch with our presence.
Presence is a touch stone, a focal grounding point and grounding is where it all begins.
