I was relinquished for adoption and I was adopted by the Fioresi/De Anda family! The best thing ever in my life was given life and and second, landing into my family's hands!! My family is beautiful!! So much love we had!! My mother Tina is an angel.
Raised in South San Francisco, I grew up learning to love my hispanic culture, spending summers in Mazatlan Mexico with my two sisters Asa & Arti and our many cousins with Grandma and Grandpa. They were a profound influence on who I am. My whole family reflected a strong sense of unconditional love.
SSF was a melting pot of culture, music, art, dance, sports, nature etc...
I excelled especially in athletics, I was always a team leader and pretty much a natural coach from the start. I was entrepreneurial at a young age with a paper rout (my mom had my back on day's I "forgot" to deliver) to my job working at Cards, Comics & Collectibles working the register at 11yrs old! Good times!! (Pretty much haven't stopped)
I got hooked with writing poetry, especially when my grandma said to never stop because I have a gift for making people think...I ran with it. I wrote poems to understand the depths of my inner resources and mysteries.
I devoured music all my life with a high propensity for memorization and lyrical patterns and schemes.
I loved to sing so much I did not care if I knew the words! (sorry family & friends....)
Joined the corporate world and had SF in my hands...
With all my free time, I studied Zen Shiatsu at SF School of Massage, I studied Qi Gong and Chinese Medicine with Dr. Yen Wei Choong and I continued to meditate and write lots of poetry.
I kept my word that I'd care for my Grandfather and cared for him and gave back to him as he did for me. It was a profound time in my life. I went through a major shift in personal and spiritual perception. I knew that I was to help humanity with my hands and heart from there on...
I then went to study Ayurvedic Herbology in Placerville with a wonderful teacher Candis Cantin.
I fell in love with the quaintness of the Sierra Nevada Foothills and decided to stay.
I took a job supporting adults with developmental disabilities helping them live confidently independent.

2003 Angelique Joy my beautiful baby girl was born, and 9mo. before she was born my biological mother Francine came full circle as we reunited when I was 26 and she was 40yrs!!
We've been celebrating our lives together ever since. (Angelique is 10 now and blows me away how intelligent and articulate she is about her life's direction!! Go AJ!!)
In between all of this my poetics, turned to song and I became a Conscious Musician!
Music has alway been healing and does it ever when we need it to sooth our soul.
I found the book, "ESOTERIC ANATOMY, The Body As Consciousness," by Bruce Burger. OMG!!
I found the holy grail of healing and energy medicine!!
I went deep into it, in every way I could, I weaved the work into my Shiatsu practice and I mainly used the knowledge for creative inspiration.
I got into an inspiring conscious relationship with Jennifer Riley. (& her darling boy Kai)
I had never felt so supported in my life as a Healing Artist!!
I opened up my business, and began helping lots and lots of people....I was ready to go deeper and so
I decided to find Bruce and study with him!!
I met him at Ananda Village Retreat in Nevada City area. Our meeting was very fortuitous, I knew that I needed to learn his approach to energy, bodywork and transpersonal somatic psychology!!
I took it and rand with it! I had the privilege to take over 10 courses with Bruce in less than 3 years time!! I practiced and practiced, fully devoted to evolving the work and my own being at the same time.
So devoted I became I naturally took Bruce's legacy on and started to teach his style of Yogic Energy Medicine. That is how I made it to here...
Why do I do what I do?
I do everything to inspire Divine Intelligence seen and unseen.
I courageously hold space for people so they can feel safe in their own skin.
I write songs that uplift and aim toward clarity and empowerment.
I mentor and teach others how to empower and inspire the healing vibration.
I do everything for joy is ever unfolding in me.
I do all that I do so that everybody in all of the worlds become free of suffering.
I guess I really love living and want to keep giving back to THAT which keeps GIFTING!!!

Loved reading this Jaq. Thanks so much for sharing. I didn't even know some of these pertinent facts about you but way to go & I am one of your biggest advocates & supporter. I can wholly relate to your journey as I went through an awakening myself slowly but surely having grown up in 2 different cultures/countries. I am glad we met in freshman year @ ECH (you sat behind me in an English class & annoyed me a bit regarding the choice we were given which was either to stand or sit during the pledge of allegiance..I chose to sit & you chose to stand hahaha:) & didn't really connect until senior year in which again you sat behind me in an English class. We lost touch after ECH but thanks to Facebook here we are :))) Take care of yourself always & much love to you, your family, & your endeavors!!!
